Things found in my backpack.
school is going good. i have a legal project to do. it sounds totally boring too. sometimes law is really boring. my class is pretty entertaining though - the people in it, specifically. theres one “old whore” (theres always one!!!), the kid that sleeps the whole time (why even bother coming? seriously!), the person that challenges the professor on everything (um, shes a lawyer. im pretty sure she knows the law better than you!) and of course - the white trash mother fucker. the white trash mother fucker can be either male or female. im my class, its a female. i’ve already heard way too many stories about her “husbands ex baby mama”, all the disgusting fluids involved with her pregnancy, what shows up in her daughters diaper (why would you even bring this up in a law class?) and of course, the various people she thinks have wronged her and she feels like she could sue (and win) this list includes: george w bush, her neighbor, the post man and a mcdonalds employee who wouldn’t give her 10 ranch cups with her 4 piece chicken mcnuggets order. everytime she opens her mouth, i roll my eyes. my professor has caught me numerous times. anyway…
Les Paul is pretty incredible. He developed the solid body electric guitar which pretty much made all of todays music possible. He was also known for experimenting with phasing effects, tape delay, overdubbing and of course - multi track recording. Without him bringing all of this main stream, what would music be like today?

Love Her Madly by Long Beach Dub Allstars
I’ll just go ahead and say it now - I like The Doors but I don’t think they are THAT great. In fact, Jim Morrison’s voice kind of annoys me after a few songs. That being said, I really like this version of Love Her Madly. The Long Beach Dub Allstars don’t seem to come up as much as they used to when I was younger. I guess people have forgotten about them.
Me & Bobby McGee by Johnny Cash
This is a really great version of this song. Most people haven’t heard it, from what I can gather- but I think it’s one of my favorite Johnny Cash songs. Of course, Janis Joplin is the OG at this song but I think Johnny just brings it to another level :)
courier new, comic sans and papyrus are my number one, two & three most hated fonts.
This is one of my favorite blogs. I don’t read many that aren’t a friend or family members. There are a lot of cool pictures of Los Angeles here.
Singin’ The Blues by Bix Beiderbecke. I love Bix! He is definitely one of the masters of jazz. He has a really nice sound - a blend between dixieland and jazz. I named my cat after him. I’m sure he is totally honored. /sarcasm
Billie Holiday does the best version of this song, I think.
